From the hive to the pack

Owen from The Bath Bee came to talk to Cubs all about honey bees.
We all loved hearing about how important bees are to our ecosystem, and just how much goes into caring for a hive. His hives are in nearby Kelston suggesting the honey we tasted could even have come from our own gardens. Truly local!
Max then helped Cubs to make hotels for solitary bees, recycling tin cans in the process. As usual, huge enthusiasm and some excellent questions from our Cubs made for a rewarding evening.
