Summer camp … with the Beavers

Date: 17th Jul 2023 Author: Alex Hazle
A fire circle and tents at sunset
High summer, a beautiful sunset and a group from 69th’s younger crew spent the night at Cleeve Hill. The experience gained in these early, relaxed camps sets our young people off on years of adventure as they progress into Cubs and on to Scouts.
Wide games, campfire and storytelling over sausages and hot chocolate, before (finally!) nodding off as the sunset. The rest of the group joined them the following morning to enjoy more games and fun.
Thank you to all our leaders for giving up their time to give such amazing opportunities to our members. If you’d like to join the fun as a leader – just ask any of us how rewarding is.
